Own A Blog was started because I was tired of seeing offers of outrageous amounts before a beginner could get started. Just having a blog will not make you an income unless it is monetized in some fashion.

Add the time needed to learn all the different parts necessary to having a business of your own increases the fail rate tremendously. What about if people could have their first site and have it earning some small income streams for them with little work while they learn to market their site and then learn to build more?

That is the premise behind Own A Blog. I wanted to give beginners a starting point that was part way up the ladder instead of at the very bottom. I also wanted to do it for much less than what is being offered out there since we all know that the economy needs more jobs and small businesses.
